Long time no see! Yes, it's time for another round of updates. This time there’s been a gap between the updates. This allowed us to change and improve even more things in Burden.

fixedLong time no see! Yes, it's time for another round of updates. This time there’s been a gap between the updates. This allowed us to change and improve even more things in Burden. Balance: - Changed balance of chest drops. Do you smell the lack of resources for survival? - Improved player's stats balance. Now you’d feel that you need food and water. - Improved items' weight. Everything is more logical and more convenient now. - Equipped items won't affect the backpack's weight. - Modified the resource generator. Balanced resource allocation to remoteness from the base. Get ready to discover the desert more. - Changed balance of food and medicine. - Players won't die of hunger or thirst during crafting, loot and construction because the processes are interrupted at critical character's indicators. - Also, when reaching this critical point, it is impossible to perform any actions that require time. - Improved diseases and injuries. Now you'll see what specifically affects the disease. Resources and craft: - Changed the work of the container system and interaction with objects inside the containers. This has improved performance when interacting with them. - Added chests with locks. - Added master keys. Weapons: - Fixed minor bugs and added improvements for firearms and handguns. - Arrows and crossbow bolts are equipped in a separate slot. - Added the ability to use different types of arrows and crossbow bolts. - Improved bows and crossbows. - Fixed various visual bugs. - Players will see a notification when equipping inappropriate ammo for bows or crossbows. Map: - Changed the landscape. Our level designer says that it's been definitely changed, but we haven’t found yet where exactly. No worries, a funeral pyre is being prepared for him. - Changed some locations. - Added new chests, loot and weapons on the locations. Building: - Added ability to mount roofs to other roofs. - Added time display when building a module. - The second trap is now an upgrade for the main trap. It can't be simply built. Interfaces: - Changed the diary tab with player's status. - Redesigned the death screen. - Fixed the items interface when crafting and repairing. - Unified loot, sleep and pick windows. - Interfaces for craft, inventory and object selection are brought to a general view. - Fixed other interface bugs. Sounds: - Added new sounds including receiving a perk, the sounds of the wind, the sounds of passing through the bushes and others. - Added a soundtrack when receiving a perk. - Added battle music theme. - Added sounds when pressing a key for loot, sleep and pick. - Added sounds for disassembling and improving modules. Other: - Fixed problem with possible empty dialogs with NPCs. - Added new types of notifications. - Fixed other bugs and added improvements!
