One brand-new story chapter expanding the main single player campaign.

Level 16: Saving The World.

Brutal John and Brutal Dog, storm a towering Luzilian Spaceship to stop Earth’s destruction.

Inside, they battle waves of NFT Clones - warped replicas of Brutal John, and move through alien labs and cloning chambers.

❓ OK. BUT HOW TO ACCESS NEW LEVEL?

The new level can now be accessed directly from the Chapters menu in the Main Menu. Level is listed as Level 16 for easy selection.

🛠️ General Updates:

  • Added Level 16: Saving The World

  • Added a Bloom Setting in Video Menu.

  • Fixed the player interaction zone with the slot machine and simplified its gameplay logic.

  • Reduced the health of the green elite trooper (so it dies from 1 rocket on any difficulty).

  • Fixed an issue where, after loading a game, crocos fanatics at rock concerts behaved as if the concert was still ongoing (all levels with rock concerts).

  • Fixed an issue where the same crocos at rock concerts played their death sound after loading a game.

  • Fixed an issue throughout the game where the outermost toilet stall doors were visually not attached to anything.

  • Increased the recoil of the Molecularizer shot.

  • Removed a bug where shooting flower pots in the dirt area produced a hit marker.

  • John’s coin that he inserts into soda vending machines no longer glows.

  • Fixed an issue on Levels 13 and 15 where saving/loading could break quest markers.

[Level 2]

  • Fixed lighting on the dartboard in John’s house.

  • Removed excess dopefish from John’s house.

  • Fixed lighting on the liquor store sign.

  • Fixed the texture on the grass in front of the house to the left of the liquor store.

  • Fixed lighting on decorative blood on dead NPCs.

  • Fixed overexposure on traffic cones at the exit of the liquor store.

  • Fixed minor animation issues in the team plan discussion cutscene.

[Level 3]

  • Fixed a lighting issue near the start of the level by the bar.

  • Fixed a texture tiling issue after jumping off the train during the escape.

[Level 4]

  • Fixed the yellow-black texture on the catwalk before the pump activation button.

  • Removed an extra shadow on the walls before the entrance to the mining laboratory.

[Level 6]

  • Fixed a graphical artifact on blood at the start of the level (blood disappeared when moving away from it).

  • Fixed lighting issues in the secret area in the movie theater (the film reel was glowing).

  • Fixed an issue where transparent pickup circles were visible through glass at bus stops.

  • Fixed spelling in subtitles (added an exclamation mark in “I’m in the movie theater, Jessica!”).

  • Fixed lighting issues on the arcade machines to the right of the room with cap.

  • Fixed lighting issues on the first turn while driving.

  • Fixed lighting issues on electric fence signs.

  • Fixed lighting issues on waterfalls near the end of the level.

[Secret Level]

  • Fixed the enemy spawn trigger that could be skipped by jumping from a secret area.

[Level 8]

  • Removed the enemy rhino spawn delay on the red truck.

[Level 9]

  • Fixed a lighting issue on one of the broken cars in front of the bar.

  • Fixed lighting on the final sign with Bibix restaurant.

[Level 11]

  • Fixed lighting outside the cave (removed overexposure on yellow barrels).

[Level 14]

  • Shots hitting arcade machine screens now produce the same effect as hitting regular arcade machines; fixed geometry issues on those machines.

  • Simplified platforming in the lava corridor.

  • Fixed table textures.

[Level 15]

  • Removed the RoboCroco spawn in the locker room that could pass through walls.

  • Fixed a spot where the player could get stuck after a bad jump (jumping from the balcony between the barricade and the barrels).

  • Fixed table textures.

📢 STORY CAMPAIGN FINALE Coming in February 2026 and we have little changes to Roadmap.

We’ve decided to take a little different approach rather than pushing ourselves to force everything into the 1.0 launch.

Instead, we’ll be releasing the Story Campaign Finale as Content Update #4 ahead of the full release, because it’s the better path for the game, and it gives us the time for some small fixes and final touches.

Story Campaign Finale Content Update #4 is scheduled for February 2026 and will include two final levels, bringing the story campaign to its conclusion.

This means players looking forward to the full campaign can jump in this February. The 1.0 release now set for April 2026 - is mostly a marketing step, giving us the space to build the visibility for the game and do final small touches to the game.

Developing BRUTAL JOHN 2 with our 3-person team is a huge challenge, but we’re giving it everything we have. Thank you for your continued support! 💪
