The past month has been a flurry of activity with the release of the Fabricator and Obstacle Builds. Check out the following footage that was posted at the start of April.

The last bit of news is the demo for Brigador Killers is coming soon. Builds of games on platforms like Steam need to go through a review process first, so the exact date isn't known to us yet. Once it is, we will be very loud about it, but if you wishlist a game, Steam should notify you that a demo for your wishlisted game is ready.

The final part of this post is repeating some of our Brigador Killers FAQ seen both on our Discord and in the Steam forum but we've adjusted it to be more specific about the upcoming demo.

❓What is in the Brigador Killers demo?

The demo will contain two campaigns: OBSTACLE 1 and THE GARAGE. OBSTACLE 1 introduces you to the mechanics of Brigador Killers with short narrative beats and ends in an explosive finale that can take about 15 minutes to complete.

In THE GARAGE you can deploy on even more missions to build up a personal arsenal to take on harder missions available. Completionists may spend hours on THE GARAGE campaign alone hunting for weapons, parts and fabricating various vehicles.

💻What operating systems does Brigador Killers run on?

Only Windows for the time being. The game is made in a Linux environment and can run on Linux (such as through using WINE) but your mileage may vary. We have not yet tested it to run on a Steam Deck. Mac support is not on the cards but this may change depending on how well things go.

🎮Is there controller support?

Controllers are currently functional but we strongly recommend you play the game with mouse and keyboard as that is the intended experience.

🛠What are the minimum system requirements?

We are not 100% sure but generally speaking if you have a computer and a video card made in the past 10 years, you should be ok. Anything older than 2016 and you can expect trouble with things like out of date GPU drivers or frame drops. More specifically, try to have at least this spec:

OS: Windows 10 or above

PROCESSOR: 2.6 GHz CPU with a passmark score of more than 2900

MEMORY: 4 GB RAM

STORAGE: ~4 GB available space

We expect to receive an influx of bug reports when the demo appears. If you encounter problems please read the pinned thread in the Technical Issues subforum first before posting. This subforum will become available for posting in when the demo is ready.

📆What are the release plans for Brigador Killers?

Hopefully the demo will appear in the next two weeks assuming everything goes well with the review process. This demo will take part in the Steam Next Fest that starts June 15, 2026. Sometime after that, the Early Access period will begin where the game will be available for purchase on Steam and GOG. We do not have a date for 1.0 yet.

💲What will the price be for Brigador Killers?

The game is currently available on Itch at 25 USD. Steam & GOG will also be 25 USD until the end of the Early Access period. The price is expected to increase to ~30 USD at 1.0. There will still be regular discounts on Steam & GOG, though those discounts will not be deep until the game leaves Early Access. Please note that (unlike Itch) there is a regional pricing feature on both Steam & GOG, so depending on your location and currency the cost will vary. What those values are we don't know, but you can look at similarly priced games via SteamDB to get an idea. Check out the price history of Intravenous 2 as an example.

A more detailed FAQ on Brigador Killers can be seen on our Discord, the Steam forum, or the r/brigador subreddit.
