A few features of Brigador Killers are not explicitly tutorialized in the demo, though some players may have found these out already. Let's start with some practical ones.

Now for the more... impractical advice:

  • Brick on the pedal – Hold down Shift to accelerate and then hold E when driving a vehicle to exit the vehicle in motion. The vehicle will continue accelerating forward on its own.

  • Burndown & bleed – The player or any NPC will enter a bleedout state when their green health bar drops below a certain health threshold. The player will have a limited amount of time to try and regain some health, retreat to the garage or exit a vehicle that is about to explode.

  • Careful on the trigger – Eject enemies from vehicles like cop APCs by dealing enough damage to them, but try not to do too much.

  • Confirm your kills! – Enemies can drop to the ground under heavy gunfire or explosions for a few seconds, but will eventually get back up. Do not mistake their prone position for a corpse.

  • Don't get caught in the open – The player can be toppled by repeated heavy gunfire or explosions and need a moment to get back up. Some enemies may be equipped with less lethal beanbag launchers to deliberately annoy the player.

  • Dress for the occasion – The player can only swap between suits and rigs when in the garage, and some vehicles cannot be driven while the player is wearing certain rigs.

  • Frogs bearing gifts – The automated Froggies seen in various levels may contain various goodies.

  • Get the boot in – Save on your ammo by using Space to melee attack a prone enemy.

  • Hazardous materials – Unattended OvO electric cars will violently malfunction when only slightly damaged. The player can use this to their advantage.

  • Nuances of crouch – Crouch on foot will zoom the camera out. Aim with a weapon while crouching to extend the camera out further than normal. Crouch and aim at the same time with the binoculars or a sniper rifle to see even further.

  • Occlusion and bubbles – Enemies that are behind (or "occluded by") buildings will have a red highlight. When the player is behind certain buildings or objects, they will either see a bubble around them, or a blue highlight.

  • Sprint and aim stability – Slow down and take a moment: weapon accuracy is affected by recent player movement depending on both the weapon and equipped suit or rig.

  • Stay on target – Lock on will remain on a targeted enemy until they are off screen.

  • Sewer sniper – Scope out the terrain - just because one mission might look empty does not mean somebody isn't watching or lying in wait.

  • Take cover – Concrete barriers and even empty vehicles provide protection from gunfire so long as the player crouches behind them.

  • Vilutian heist – Rumor has it a security truck loaded with credits can be seen driving along the promenade when the road is clear...

  • Watch out – The Mar Nosso police have a habit of calling in reinforcements.

We hope these tidbits assist you in your Mar Nosso adventures. Thank you for playing the demo!
