Brigador Killers changes
This is a short news post to address a couple of common reports we've received since the demo's launch the past 24 hours. Thank you all for your feedback so far.
Convoy mission crash
A hotfix was deployed yesterday to address this issue but reports are still coming in. The cause of this crash is complicated, but it almost always happens on destroying the third and final vehicle in the convoy with the turret as the passengers bail out of the car, usually resulting in an unpleasant audio loop. If this is happening repeatedly on your machine you can do the following to skip this mission entirely:
Start the Lovell Archer mission and finish the brief dialog at the start.
Press F1 to open the debug panel.
Click and drag the lower right corner of the window that appears to expand the window.
Check the first box in the top left of this window marked "devmode"
Press F1 again to close the debug panel
Press the "Home" key on your keyboard - this will immediately "win" the level and take you back to the trailer lot.
After winning the level, press F1 to open up the debug panel again and disable devmode so that you can continue playing normally and proceed to the finale of the OBSTACLE 1 campaign.
We hope to deploy another hotfix to finally address this, but it may not come for another few days.
Please note that completing OBSTACLE 1 does not gate you from accessing anything in THE GARAGE - they are two separate campaigns. Speaking of...
The Garage intro mission and the mission selector
When you first access THE GARAGE campaign on a fresh save, you are given a tour around the garage, along with details about the introductory mission to this campaign. When this tour ends, your guide disappears in a somewhat dramatic fashion and the exit to the introductory mission opens up. This exit is in the lower right of the level where you originally spawned in.
To access the rest of the missions in THE GARAGE campaign, you must complete this introductory mission by bringing back the crate on the Tuk Tuk and depositing the special item inside it onto the Armory pad. The mission selector will not work until you do this introductory mission.
Once you deposit that item, you will be clear to take on the dozen or so missions in the now-active mission selector.
