Botlings DEMO is out now!

We are incredibly happy to announce that the Botlings demo is officially live! We have been working hard to get this into your hands, and we cannot wait to see what you build.

What is in the demo?

This is your first look at the full factory automation experience, Botlings style. You will be building your factory using small robots that only move forward.

The demo includes nearly all of our building types to get you started:

• Movement Controllers: Turners, splitters/joiners, and catapults.

• Infrastructure: Resource buildings, manufacturing buildings, containers, and creators.

You will notice some islands teasing you on the map, but they are difficult to access because you do not have bridges yet. You are also working with limited resources, specifically Iron, to keep the challenge real.

You have access to the basic tier of technology with around 20 technologies available, leading up to the basic Creator that lets you create more botlings.

A sneak peek at the full release

That covers the demo, which is meant to give you a first impression of the game. There is so much more waiting for you in the full version. Here is what we are working on for the launch:

• Advanced Manufacturing: Four tiers of manufacturing buildings.

• Diversity in Swarms: Four different botling types.

• Verticality: Bridges and platforms to build in multiple layers.

• Tech Depth: The full technology tree with several tiers of technology.

• The World: Bigger maps, more islands, and more resources to exploit.

• The Endgame: We are preparing a surprise involving the wonderful botlings.

• The Awakening: Watch the botlings slowly gain sentience little by little and start behaving in erratic, unpredictable ways.

What now?

We are continuing to work on Botlings, and your help is invaluable to us.

Play the demo and give us feedback. We mean it when we say we want your honest opinion. Feel free to be harsh because we want this game to be truly great, and we want you to have a blast playing it.
