Board Game Society changes
So we sort of dropped the ball on the whole communication of our progress.
So here is a progress update!
Since our last update (11th of december, yikes) quite a lot has understandably changed. Our entire Encounter system has been rebuilt from the ground up, Steam integration is being fully implemented, bugs are being squashed and so. Much. Tweaking.
“But Jetebra, why haven’t you been updating all of us? Don’t you love us anymore?” Well. It is simple really:
We’re really, really bad at it.
Especially when we have our hoods up and working in full force to make sure everything is to a standard we can actually be proud to show off, and to show that we listen to the feedback we get from our players, which brings us to our next point:
Hand drawn art:
Let me happily present our new completely hand-drawn cards! Our in-house artist has been drawing them around the clock to make sure they are production worthy, and I got to say that they were able to create a beautiful deck for our game.
Here they are in all their glory Steam post image
So what are we doing right now?
While writing this, we’re working on our so called "fidget optimization” of one of our boards that will be available on launch: “Carnival Carnage”. It is sort of our breather in between large bugfixes, reworks and other optimizations to just relax and add stupid, silly stuff into the world for people to find. Steam post image
Anyway, we are still in a sort of crunch mode here at the office, but we wanted to just reach out and tell you that we’re still alive. Some more announcements of behind the scenes stuff, scope, and a proper roadmap is in the works aswell, so keep your eyes peeled for that in the future. If you ever have anything you’d like to talk with us about, or are curious about in general, please join our Discord, as we are a lot better at answering there than any other place.
PS. Jetebra (jättebra) is actually swedish for “very good”, so from now on, we’ll always end our posts with:
Have a Jetebra day!
