changedThe demo has been updated to address issues some users were experiencing when trying to configure flight simulator devices such as joysticks, throttles, and rudder pedals. All these devices are generally treated as joysticks by the input system, which was causing conflicts when trying to configure multiple devices to use at the same time. The symptoms of the issue were that a function on one device would trigger its configured function, as well as a second unintended function, for example a throttle which also adjusts the rudder.
addedThe control rebind screen now has an extra option called "Generalize Control Path" which can be used to control whether a device input is bound to all similar devices, or a specific device. When setting up multiple flight simulator devices it is recommended to uncheck this option which will cause the action to be bound to a specific device. It is also recommended to rebind all flight controls with this option unchecked, even the ones that work, as this will ensure that all controls are bound to specific devices only. A control binding now turns yellow when it has been altered, so ensuring that all control bindings are yellow is an easy way of ensuring that they have all been rebound.
addedIn addition I've also modified the way the aircraft identification boxes work within the game, enemy aircraft now have red boxes and identification text, and friendly aircraft are blue. The offscreen direction indicator arrows for enemy aircraft are also red, however they no longer show for friendly aircraft to make it easier to follow an enemy when it has left your field of view.
