Major Update: Brand New Save & Load System (Now in Playtest!)

I am thrilled to bring you a massive quality-of-life update that completely overhauls how your progress is saved and managed. Say goodbye to the single-slot limitations and hello to total control over your journeys!

Note: This update is currently live exclusively on our Playtest. I want to make sure everything runs flawlessly before pushing it to the live game, and we need your help to test it! (Scroll down to see how to join).

Here is everything you need to know about the new Save System Update:

Full Steam Cloud & Cross-Platform Support

• Play Anywhere, Anytime: Your save files are now fully synchronized with Steam Cloud!

• Seamless Cross-Platform Progression: Thanks to my rewritten architecture, your progress travels with you across different operating systems. You can start playing on your desktop Windows PC at home, continue right where you left off on your MacBook during your travels, or take your adventures on the go with your Steam Deck! Your characters and progress are now truly universal.

10 Character Slots & Manual Saves

• AddedMultiple JourneysYou are no longer restricted to just one adventure. I have introduced 10 independent character save slots!

• AddedStart Fresh AnytimeClicking "New Game" will now let you choose an empty slot, so you can start a brand-new character without overwriting your existing progress.

• AddedSave with ConfidenceWhile my reliable Auto-Save system continues to back up your progress automatically in the background, I know nothing beats peace of mind. You can now use the newly added "Save Button" in the menu to manually save your game whenever you want.

Brand New Load Menu

• AddedResume Any CharacterI have added a dedicated Load Menu to the "Main Menu" screen.

• Track Your Progress: You can now view all your created characters, see your progress, and jump right back into the action exactly where you left off.

Under the Hood: Enhanced Security

Your hard work and progress are safer than ever. I have completely rewritten the saving backend with advanced encryption. This means your save files are highly secure, preventing corruption and ensuring a much smoother, more stable performance.

How to Join the Playtest & Test the Update
