changedOver the past few weeks, I've been working on changing the gun sounds with new, more realistic gunfire sounds. Each weapon received a new sound asset with the exception of the plasma launcher, boom tube, and plasma blaster. I've also made some adjustments to the new UI sounds. Weapon sounds were one of the main complaints I remember reading in the comments during live streams so I made it the top priority for the last few weeks to get them changed. I will continue to make changes like this in the future based on community feedback.
changedI've also adjusted the zombie boss by lowering the base health by 1000.
addedBlocking volumes were added to the antenna towers on the roof of map 1.
changedSprint speed has been increased by 20.
changedThe mower's rate of fire has been dropped slightly and the damage has been increased.
addedThere was a previous update also added to steam a few weeks ago I posted the details in Discord but forgot to share them here. Here are the changes from that patch:

I've also adjusted the zombie boss by lowering the base health by 1000.

Blocking volumes were added to the antenna towers on the roof of map 1.

Sprint speed has been increased by 20.

The mower's rate of fire has been dropped slightly and the damage has been increased.

There was a previous update also added to steam a few weeks ago I posted the details in Discord but forgot to share them here. Here are the changes from that patch:

Fixed zombie tracking on map 2.

Adjusted spawners on map 2.

Adjusted drops for later rounds.

Pacer accuracy correction.

For the next update I will be doing an overhaul of the line trace for the firing system so that it is optimized for multiplayer. I will also be overhauling a lot of the replicated events as well as updating the zombie AI. This update will also fix the spawning issue for blood decals. Overall this next update will be a large one and should flush out any final problems with network latency on multiplayer and fix a few bugs in the base game play.

Thank you everyone for your patience and your commitment to sending me bug reports we've been able to track down a lot of issues and I feel like in the month that the game has been out we have made a good amount of progress. Given the scope of the next few updates that are planned out, you should expect to see one or two updates a month until the end of February. My goal is to have melee hand grenades added in by the end of February as well as a massive update to the UI.
