Whoohooo!
Hey everyone,
I'm proud to say that BiteVille has successfully launched! Thanks to everyone with positive (and negative) feedback, and especially thanks to the people who contributed to the beta.
How did the launch go? We went live at around 23:00 o'clock and noticed that there were a few unexpected bug:
Escape menu did not work as intended
Zombies got stuck in a walk animation at the south side of the map
Visual bug that made a few UI elements unclear
The first cutscene had a scene where the characters didn't move
aaaand last but not least the zombies moved a bit to quick, hehe oops..
We went to bed at around 06:00 but all those things should be fixed now!
we also noticed we underestimated the minimum requirements of the game and we are sorry for anyone who is affected by this. We changed them accordingly.
Whats next? All the main features off the game are in but we will certainly tweak some things. Next to that we will work on optimalizations and a few more quality of life changes, think of:
A few extra voicelines for AI's
Voicelines for drops
A map u can use in the zombie round
Location names so calling out stuff is easier
Special zombie health will change based on the number of players
Suggestions and feedback would help us out a lot, you can use discord to reach out to us and other BiteVille players.
