Repeated intro
Hey birders, it’s been a long time coming! We’ve been working hard at adding new features, implementing feedback, and squashing bugs! Many of the changes were internal overhauls to allow for bigger and faster updates in the future, but we still have more than enough in this one for y’all to sink your teeth into for the next little bit!

Birdteeth changes
The highlights for this version are the new bird species and its accompanying seed, the reworked first section, and the auto-save system (finally!). Of course, we’ve worked on many other things since the last update, the full* notes are below.
General
Added a save system!
Added an additional bird species
Added two new seed types
Added a secret bird interaction
Try pressing ‘E’ on a bird ;)
Added an ability for the Pied Poko
Added the ability to manually shift the terrain
Various miscellaneous bug fixes and optimizations
Gameplay Changes
Changed seed throwing velocity to be dependent on vertical camera angle
When pathfinding to the player, birds now target the ground in front of the player
When pathfinding to certain targets, birds now fly to face the correct direction
Birds now follow reissued commands
Updated compendium to show which teeth has been received
Updated compendium to allow for multiple pages
Rebalanced affection gain factors and rates
Reworked tooth drop behaviour
Removed demo menu
Visuals
Updated visuals in tutorial cave
Updated several puzzle clues, effects, and animations
Sound
Added player footsteps
Rebalanced certain sound effects
Added another music track
Updated music to play random intervals rather than constantly looping
Known Bugs
Saves still get messed up sometimes :(
*We’ve done so much since the last update that we’re not even 100% sure if this is everything. Oh well :)
