Bibidi Bibidi! changes
Greetings fellow Wizardfolk!
Happy new year to all! In this Skymap Update (v0.07.00), hopefully the first of many this year, we're aiming to combat the most recurring piece of feedback that we get: replayability! For this we take a two-pronged approach.
First, we've implemented a permanent progression system: the Skymap. In the Skymap you can find challenges and quests that unlock new content, like spell cards and Sigils. Once you've completed a quest, those cards will then potentially be available in the reward pool in future runs. As you complete quests, more and more quests are revealed in turn, so you always have a new goal to hunt down.
Steam post imageThe other approach is challenge. The game was far too easy. We spent a significant amount of time on balancing it to increase the difficulty. It feels a lot more rewarding to actually do well and a lot more clutch if you're about to fail. That being said, we need your comments on it to actually be sure if this is the right direction to go in: so please let us know via our discord.
