Bibidi Bibidi! changes
Greetings fellow wizardkin,
Jonas & Daan here with a small update right before Next Fest! Daan managed to squeeze in a handful of minor bug fixes and visual glitches, so everything feels just a bit nicer. Jonas improved some art here and there, including most notably, the final boss! (of the demo) It's really ugly and disgusting, but we won't spoil anything so go see it for yourself, if you dare!
Here are the major changes we made this patch.
🍹 Quality of Life
Improved feedback on hovering over card parts and spell slots.
More predictable order of spell effects.
Game Settings where you can reset progress or tutorials.
Automatically view rewards when unlocking something in the Skymap.
More readability improvements.
🐞 Major Bugs
Fixed exploit where you could destroy cards to gain Sigils over your limit.
Fixed visual glitches related to destroying or upgrading cards.
Various bug fixes related to gamepad and keyboard input.
⚖️ Balance
Oppipi now has a cursed Sigil that makes his Shield disappear at the start of the turn.
Upgrade cards like Growus, Genki Dama and Thank You are now ethereal. This is a temporary measure until we implement a cool new secret feature ;)
👨🎨 Art
Boss 3 now has proper sprites and it's very unnerving!
Improved encounter selection art for area 2.
Banishing cards has a little animation.
Thanks again to our playtesters who managed to catch some of these nasty bugs that have been around for a while. We finally managed to catch and squash them because of you!
