Dev Note
It's been a while since the last update - I just haven't been able to work on the game for almost a month. I'm finally back to it now. Sorry for the delay!
Building
Multi-story buildings are now supported - when you're under a floor, the game will detect objects that belong to the upper floors and hide them.
This may not work perfectly in complex buildings. If you encounter any issues with your house, please report them on the Steam forums or Discord with a screenshot or video. Thanks!
Combat
New stat: Parry chance. Grants a chance to avoid damage from most melee attacks. Requires a melee weapon in main hand. Baseline chance is 5% or 10%, depending on your weapons.
Agility now increases Dodge chance, and Strength now increases Parry chance. These effects have diminishing returns.
Arcane Surge now also deals damage.
Graveweaving can now have extra stacks on powerful enemies, up to 16 on bosses.
High-level enemies now deal less damage.
New Skill
Added Evisceration - the first skill for melee agility builds.
It requires dual wielding and strikes with both weapons, dealing heavy Pierce damage in a small area in front of you.
Currently, the skillbook is dropped by 1+ star Drowned.
Misc
Shift + right-clicking an item now brings up the new Split Stack window, which lets you pick the exact amount to split.
Improved performance when there are many player-built objects on the screen.
Improved performance when snapping a new object to a complex building.
Bugs
Fixed a bug that caused upgraded tools to reset to their initial state in some situations.
Fixed a bug that caused weather effects to linger when teleporting from one biome to another.
Fixed a bug that caused floors to clip into terrain when placed with no objects to snap to.
Fixed a bug that caused shadows from small lights to flicker when moving around them.
