Controls
You can now use automatic interaction with mouse movement (previously only available with WASD or a controller).
You can now use automatic targeting with WASD movement (previously only available with a controller). Note: some actions have new default keybinds and will be reset when updating to this version to avoid conflicts.
Crafted Gear Upgrade
You can now upgrade level 20 crafted gear to level 30.
This requires the same level 20 materials, plus a new material dropped by level 30 enemies (including raiders).
This upgrade method will remain available until the 3rd biome is updated with new enemies and materials (planned for Q2 this year).
Reforge
You can now replace a selected stat on an item with another from the same pool.
To access this feature, use the Reforge button at crafting stations that create armor and weapons.
Most secondary (green) and rare (blue) stats can be reforged.
Only one stat per item can be reforged.
Reforging costs 1 Mana Dust or 1 Crystallized Mana, depending on the stat.
All gear crafted or looted before this patch can be reforged once for free.
Reverting an item to its original state is free.
There is no limit on how many times an item can be reforged, but new attempts do not generate new options.
Rings can be reforged using the Anvil (temporary, until Jewelcrafting is fully implemented).
Smart Disenchant
A new feature enabled by default (can be turned off in Options → Misc).
When sorting your inventory with the disenchant window open, the game will automatically filter out low-value items and move them to the disenchant container.
You still need to press the Disenchant button to confirm.
Stats
Rare stats now scale with item level and slot multiplier.
Many stats are now split into slot-specific groups, making randomized gear more balanced.
Added new rare offensive stats.
Added new defensive secondary stats (only appear on newly crafted or looted armor).
Sets
Set items must now be upgraded to Rare quality to activate their set bonus.
Set items no longer roll a rare stat.
The legendary effect Set Bonus Power now scales with item level.
Misc
- Rings now increase baseline Health or Mana. Noteall existing rings increase Health. Three new caster rings increase Mana.
You can now convert Mana Dust into Crystallized Mana at the Spellforge.
Improved 3D aiming for projectile-based spells.
Food no longer restores health. Water now restores 1% of maximum health per second (and 1% mana, as before).
Upgrading items to Rare and Legendary quality is now slightly cheaper.
