As we kick off 2025, we are thrilled to unveil a patch that focuses on refining the gameplay experience and setting the stage for major future updates. This release marks the introduction of several key features that players have been eagerly anticipating, including the entirely new mission system, borderless fullscreen mode, and various visual and audio enhancements. We've taken the time to listen to your feedback, and this patch is a testament to our commitment to improving and expanding the game in ways that matter most to you.
New
- New Launcher with DPI Scaling SettingsBrought to you by @[Dev] Wolfintank, this new launcher ensures better ways to set your resolution and other preferences. Important: Run the launcher at least once to apply new graphics settings. - This ensures the game interface looks sharp and clear on all screens, enhancing the overall user experience.
Voice Selection: Choose between ASTRA (voiced by [VA] CrayChicken77) and TITAN (voiced by [VA] ScoopShooter) for a personalized auditory experience. - Tailor your in-game guidance with a voice that suits your preference, making each journey unique.
Borderless Fullscreen: A highly requested feature, now fully functional with mouse pointer support. - Switch seamlessly between applications while staying immersed in the game, perfect for multitasking.
- Enhanced Visual EffectsNew VFX for stations and ships, including lens reflexes and engine trails, make the universe more visually dynamic. - These visual improvements bring a more vibrant and realistic space environment to life.
Sound Enhancements: Ambient sounds around stations and gates, plus a rumble effect when passing by capital ships, add depth to the audio landscape. - These audio details create a more immersive atmosphere, making your space exploration feel alive and engaging.

Mission System - A Brand New Experience
The mission system is a completely new addition to the game, providing players with structured tasks and objectives for the first time. Here’s what you can expect:
Missions Display in Station: Access missions from station terminals, making it easy to find and accept tasks.
Mission Rewards: Rewards scale with mission difficulty, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts.
Reputation System: Gain or lose reputation with factions based on mission outcomes, affecting your standing in the universe.
- Mission Types- Mining Missions : Collect valuable resources from asteroid fields. - Trading Missions : Deliver goods to boost the economy and earn profits. - Seek and Destroy Missions : Eliminate threats to maintain order. - Hold Position Missions : Defend key locations against enemy forces. - This new system adds depth and variety, giving players clear goals and a sense of progression as they explore the galaxy.

- Updated Voicelines for TITAN/ASTRAImproved pronunciation and prepared for new ship additions and capital ship names. - These updates enhance the AI interaction, making the voice assistants more accurate and engaging.
Fixes
Cloud Save Failsafe: Implemented a failsafe to prevent issues with Steam's cloud save functionality. - Ensures player progress is secure, minimizing the risk of losing saved data.
