Repeated intro
Hello Everyone,
What changed
- Performance
- Gameplay
We’re back with another development update to share where things currently stand. As mentioned before, Beneath the Quiet: Where It Ends is divided into a Prologue, Act 1, and Act 2. Here’s the latest progress on each.
Prologue
The Prologue remains fully complete and locked. After extensive testing, bug fixing, and optimization, we’re confident in its stability and performance from start to finish.
Act 1
Act 1 is now approximately 99% complete. At this stage, only light polishing and final optimization work remain. All core gameplay systems, environments, and story elements are implemented and functioning as intended. We’re focusing on fine-tuning performance, small visual adjustments, and ensuring a smooth overall experience.
Act 2
Work on Act 2 is progressing at full speed. The level design is around 100% complete, with the full layout finalized. Story and gameplay elements are approximately 75% implemented, and we are actively integrating interactions, set pieces, and narrative components. This act introduces key narrative developments and we’re putting significant effort into making it impactful.
Overall, development is moving according to plan. With Act 1 nearly wrapped and Act 2 advancing steadily, we are entering the final stretch of production. After the final testing phase, the expected release window is set for late March. We will share a specific release date in the weeks leading up to launch.
More updates soon.
