In addition to the progress charts, I realized that I had forgotten about one small map, which was eventually replaced by another map before the game release. Why not use it, it would be a shame. So I finished it and, with some additional modifications, here it is!

addedAdded a graph showing the development of province ownership, army, and wealth. The button to call up the graph is at the bottom of the game panel (graph image). The graph doesn't work well for rounds of games that have already been played. But newly played rounds will be recorded for old games.
addedAdded the Fall of Great Moravia map to the main game.
fixedFixed trait for the Rus faction. At maximum taxation, it increases total money collection by 50%.

Instead of the planned small patch, I am releasing a larger update. In addition to the progress charts, I realized that I had forgotten about one small map, which was eventually replaced by another map before the game release. Why not use it, it would be a shame. So I finished it and, with some additional modifications, here it is!

So what's new in version 1.2.3?

  • Added a graph showing the development of province ownership, army, and wealth. The button to call up the graph is at the bottom of the game panel (graph image). The graph doesn't work well for rounds of games that have already been played. But newly played rounds will be recorded for old games.

  • Added the Fall of Great Moravia map to the main game.

  • Fixed trait for the Rus faction. At maximum taxation, it increases total money collection by 50%.

  • Fixed a bug where when moving a unit to its own province, other units could no longer move across two provinces, but only to the adjacent province.

  • Fixed the display of generals' morale and experience bonus traits.

  • Adjusted AI on the map.

  • Adjusted the behavior of units in combat. Units with lower morale during or after their movement out of the battle can start a new attack anytime, units with good morale have longer delay of waiting for orders.

  • Fixed a bug where catapults could run away from infantry units.

  • Catapults now cannot run, they move of their (so slow) speed all the time.

  • The option to disable inflation for both empire production and military unit creation costs has been added to the options menu. However, disabling this feature significantly simplifies the game, even on higher difficulty settings.

  • Reduced effect of technology theft. Now it cannot be used on rebels and takes more time.

  • Fixed the use of the Public Order bonus for members of the royal council.

  • And a couple of other adjustments and corrections.
