Hi everyone!
Thanks to your feedback, we were able to identify several issues to address in order to improve your gaming experience. The team is currently working on hotfixes and patches that will be rolling out as soon as possible!
In the meantime, you can learn more about the upcoming updates below:
HOTFIXES ALREADY LIVE (May 12):
Fixed a blocking issue for players using a Turkish version of Windows (and possibly other languages). The fix should also improve the game’s performance for those players.
Fixed the “Greatest Admiral of All Time” trial, which was being awarded incorrectly
A SECOND HOTFIX IS COMING LATER THIS WEEK:
Will fix a major bug where some players (who played the demo) had their maximum Fate gain capped to 900 (and the respec discarding all fate above 900)
For this one, every player affected by this issue will be credited with the correct amount of Fate.
A FIRST (BIG) PATCH IS COMING NEXT WEEK!
Along these hotfixes, we're also in the process of finalizing the first BIG patch for the game that will address many of the issues you encountered during your first runs!
It will roll out next week, and in the meantime, here are some additional details about this upcoming patch👇
MAJOR FIXES:
Will fix a bug where some players were stuck in the tutorial first battle when destroying enemies payloads too soon
Will fix a bug where the game could be "blocked" when hitting "back" quickly after selecting a save slot
Will fix a bug that allowed clues about a Cylon to be revealed again even after it had already been exposed, which led to strange behavior and events, as if it had just been exposed all over again
This next update will also address a range of other issues across gameplay, narrative, UI, visuals, and text:
As far as gameplay is concerned, we worked on fixing bugs such as incorrect ability behavior, kill tracking, and unintended achievement unlocking.
Narrative flow and event logic will also be improved to prevent conflicts, restore missing event opportunities, and fix tutorial presentation issues.
This patch will also bring some UI fixes in order to enhance clarity, responsiveness, and localization, as well as fixes for various visual bugs (animations and effects).
Additionally, various text inaccuracies and localization issues will be fixed for better consistency.
In addition to these fixes, we'll also continue to review the community feedback we’ve been receiving through various sources (Steam reviews, Discord, social media, and even email), and we’ll do our best to respond to your comments - so keep an eye on your notifications!
Of course, we will continue improving the game in the following weeks and keep you updated as regularly as possible.
