Dear Battlecore Robots fans,

It’s been three years filled with incredible moments, challenges, and learning experiences. From intense battles to awards and festivals, we’ve come a long way together. We even managed to trend in Japan the day we launched this page.

However, despite our efforts, we weren’t able to secure a publisher to ensure the project's sustainable future.

A New Approach: Battlecore Roguelite

Between April and November 2024, we redefined the game by incorporating a roguelite mode. Now, you’ll explore the Battlecore Net, a world in crisis where a virus has taken control of pilots and their Battlecore.

Key Features:

  • Unlock unique parts and upgrade your Battlecore.

  • Create new weapon and ability combinations.

  • Discover new characters and fight against challenging bosses.

  • Explore arenas with dynamic and evolving mechanics.

Early Tests and Community Feedback In November, we conducted a closed test with a small group of community players. The response was overwhelmingly positive, motivating us to make this experience the core of the game.

The Future of the Project and Our Request

We are a small indie team of five developers, and creating a game of this scale without funding is a huge challenge. To keep going, we’ve made an important decision:

We’re about to launch a support campaign on Patreon. (Check out our Discord community for details on how you can support us.)

With your help, we’ll be able to complete the game and release a full version by the end of 2025. Additionally, we will update the demo with the first version of the roguelite mode for early supporters.

Try the Demo in the Steam Co-Op Fest

From February 10 to 17, you’ll be able to play new and improved content in the Steam demo.

Key Improvements:

  • Smoother movement.

  • New combo system.

  • Improved weapon visual feedback.

  • New Battlecore, weapons, and arenas.

  • New interface and progression system.
