Battlecore Robots changes
Two Battlecores return to the arena! New game values! Aim system!
We're back with renewed enthusiasm and making great progress. But we can't show you anything yet! In the meantime, we've made some changes to two Battlecores that we weren't happy with, tweaked some game values, and we've also implemented a new experimental aim system:
Sharky:
You can now aim your overdrive with the right stick, instead of relying on its movement.
Ground range has been increased.
Trajectory and aiming in the air have been improved.
Khepri:
Now you can also aim your overdrive with the right stick.
Aim system:
New experimental aiming system with the right stick.
Allows you to aim Pods in any direction without depending on your movement direction.
Allows you to aim Bombs with the right stick as well.
Allows you to slightly aim Guns to anticipate the target's movements.
Allows you to slightly aim Melees, letting you choose which direction to push impacted enemies.
Gameplay changes:
Time to fully recover shield: 3s -> 6s
- ResistanceResistance of all Battlecores increased, which makes it harder for you to get downed.
- Down Damage50% -> 100% - All damage received in "Down" state increased.
Swapped the input action of Bomb and Gun for a smoother aim experience.
These new game values aim to make gameplay more active, reducing your time on Down but increasing all damage received. We have conducted some testing and the results were very promising. Nevertheless, please don't hesitate to tell us your honest opinion about them. These values are not final, so all feedback is welcome!
In any case, if you do not aim, the current target is taken as the default direction. Remember you can rebind all inputs to better match your preferences in the settings.
We’re incredibly excited to keep sharing this journey with you as we get closer and closer to the finish line before launch. Your feedback and support continue to shape the game every step of the way.
