BATTLECASTER 2
Early Access — Build Notes
Ring 2 is now playable. Shop and collection systems are in. Significant enemy AI and combat bugs fixed.
Ring 2 — New World
Ring 2 is now playable. enter the second layer of the ring-world.
World generation reworked and refined for Ring 2
Four new levels: tower, cliffs, Black Cube chamber, and temple ruin
New Gem nodes and Health Crystal nodes added to Ring 2
Ring 2 enemy AI: actors now wander, chase, and leash to their territory

Fixed enemies falling through the ground
Fixed enemies not responding to gravity
Fixed enemies freezing after a hit animation instead of re-engaging
Fixed enemies not playing walk animation
Fixed fireball being destroyed mid-flight
Fixed buggy encounter triggers
Fixed end-node combat not starting
Fixed heavy attack causing player position snapping
Fixed player animation glitch on the map
UI & Presentation
Cinematic camera added to pause menu
Map node buttons now animate
New ring shader with dissolve transition
Prep inventory now fades in instead of moving into position
Map nodes now display correct Default, Quest, and Combat states
Floating ambient particles added
New player hit particle effect
New trail on imp projectile
Drop shadows added to talent icons
Damage number font finalized
Screen shake effects adjusted
Fixed reward orb spawning inside rocks
Bug Fixes & Stability
Talent drag-and-drop now only activates from the designated green squares
Fixed node edge materials not disappearing and reappearing correctly
Fixed reward not appearing on end node
Fixed hit animation particle effect
