Battle Titan:RAINBOW changes
Battle Titan RAINBOW Dev. We’d like to share the changes made to the game.
Game Genre Previously, the game had RPG-like mechanics with levels, stats, gear, and various options, only the combat was STG-based. This required extensive development in balance, graphics, and design.
Now, the game is purely a Shm-up [STG], where each player selects characters with unique weapons and traits. We've streamlined choices to help players quickly enter gameplay and focus on combat.
Battle Stage There are 7 themed stages with 3 game modes: ARCADE: Quick gameplay with short battles.
JOURNEY
Long gameplay based on 7 episodes.
MATCH
1 vs 1 Boss battles.
Boss Type Bosses range from bullet-hell to fighting-game styles. JOURNEY has the highest difficulty and multiple phases. You can CONTINUE after Game Over in JOURNEY mode.
Story Previously set over a year-long road-movie style narrative, now it focuses on a "7-day event" air operation.
"The protagonist is the heir of a martial arts sect defeated by enemy forces. Driven by personal vengeance and to restore honor, they fight alongside allies using the cursed mech (RAINBOW), awakened from its seal."

It blends SF martial arts with classic super robot anime tropes,
featuring a mix of super and real robot designs.
