Battle Realms 1.59.4 Released, Available Now!

We’ve been quietly working in the background on getting a few of the most requested features together. Some of these are going to take a bit of time to make sure they meet our and your expectations.

In the meantime, we’ve been busy getting to the bottom of some of the bugs and issues you all have reported over the last couple of months.

Technical Fixes

  • We’ve fixed the odd issue of when you alt-tab in Linux, you’d lose input controls.

  • Addressed an issue where sometimes the screen or sections would flicker.

  • Fixed an issue where, on certain configurations, the game would fail to find a display mode when starting.

  • Updated and improved rendering compatibility for Proton on Linux.

Due to the nature of these changes, your .ini file will be reset to default settings. If you have manually made changes to the .ini and you want to compare the changes, make sure to backup a copy before updating.

Multiplayer

  • Improved multiplayer joining lobby and desync experience overall. Lag will still be a factor, but should be a little more forgiving now.

  • Updated Steam API to latest version to improve overall performance.

Translations

  • Updated Italian community translations.
