We have improved the overall combat feel and feedback, and the core logic has been updated so that doors remain sealed until a chest is opened when moving between modules.
NPC AI and visuals have been updated, and players can now acquire a wider variety of Artifacts. Additionally, acquired Artifacts now have greater visual impact on both the player and their weapon.
Enemy Balancing
Fixed an issue where enemies could not properly climb stairs
Reduced health and increased summon count for standard NPCs
Adjusted NPC death behavior so that they are thrown farther upon defeat
Abyss of Yggdrasil
Map name changed to Wretched Rest
Foolish Wisp: Now explodes instantly upon death
Forgotten Temple
- Victorious LoserFixed an issue where the boss would freeze after performing a jump attack

Fixed an issue where the boss would land incorrectly after a ground slam
Fixed an issue where the boss failed to properly target players when at a distance
Fixed other issues causing the boss to remain idle unexpectedly
Content
All doors in a module are now sealed upon entry. They can only be opened after unlocking the chest.
Markers on the minimap, which were previously always visible, are now only activated when the player is within a certain distance.
(For example, chests will only appear on the minimap once you approach them.)
Added more diverse Artifacts with unique mechanics, such as lifesteal, health regeneration, and auto-reload.
Artifact acquisition now applies more visible attachments to the player and their shotgun. Equipping items such as boots or gloves will visually alter the character’s hands and feet.
The overall layout of the Forgotten Temple has been adjusted, with a first pass of visual polish applied.
The Wretched Rest now features a wider variety of dungeon modules.
Added a twin-cat NPC to the shop (interactions to be added in a future update).

Fixed an issue where Steam Cloud saves could fail
Fixed locations in certain maps where players could get stuck
Corrected typos and revised some NPC dialogues
Adjusted friendly fire ratios based on difficulty (including self-inflicted damage)
