Repeated intro
Hey everyone! So, you might remember that back when we first launched Auro on Steam back in 2016, the biggest complaint was "why can't we fullscreen". It's hard to believe, but since then over the years we've had about half a dozen different programmers come at that problem trying to solve it, and all of them weren't able to do it. It's a really weird, old mix of a bunch of outdated frameworks that Auro was originally built on (we started it in 2011, after all).

Auro: A Monster-Bumping Adventure changes
(I know there are some coders here thinking, pfft, how hard could it be? That's what every coder said until they got all set up with the repo and everything!)
Anyways. A few months ago Brett Lowey and I of BrainGoodGames (go check out SOLAR SETTLERS!) worked out a deal: he would code for us a UNITY PORT of Auro!
Cut to
now! We now have an all-new, fresh version of Auro! We're so pumped. Auro 3.0 (as we're calling it) is pretty darn similar to the Auro 2.0 you knew and loved. But there have been a bunch of bugfixes and actually some subtle rule improvements too!
The big news is
- You can now do FULLSCREEN as well as different screen resolutions - There is now a RANK SELECTOR which lets you set your rank at 5, 10, or 15
Beyond that, the options going forward are limitless! We can port this easily to Android going forward, and possibly iOS even! There are some threads over on the Steam forums where you can submit your thoughts as to what you'd like to see in the game next.
Thanks for all your patience. Happy bumping!
