This update is focused on making your runs smoother, more precise, and faster to play. From synergy tags that simplify build choices to a polished Bow & Arrow experience, Update 20 cuts friction and boosts readability across the board. We also upgraded ambience, tightened visuals, and cleaned up several long-standing issues so every moment of your picnic feels better.

What’s New
Synergy Tags on Level Up
You can now see synergy tags directly on the level-up screen, making build crafting faster, more straightforward, and way less guesswork-y.
Bow & Arrow Improvements
Complete new SFX pass for Bow & Arrow
Ricochet added to the Scatter Arrow mod
Perfect Release is now more straightforward and more satisfying to hit
New reticle animations to improve aiming feedback
New hit impact VFX when arrows strike scenery
Ambience Upgrades
New ambience sounds for Viridity Pass and Twilight Dam
Additional polish across the board for atmosphere and sound clarity
Visual Improvements
End Game Screen damage stats UI polish
Water reflections improved
Grass now responds dynamically to wind direction and intensity
Loner’s Camp: Bus tents received a visual upgrade
Changes
Bow & Arrow now requires unlocking via discovery: You must progress in the game to unlock it.
Taka-chan UI update: Button now reads “Take All” instead of “Continue,” and pressing Space instantly collects your rewards.
Fixes
Fixed misaligned map locked state on the Start Picnic screen
Fixed Miniboss Charles’ missiles lingering after defeat
Fixed camera clipping inside objects (train cars, containers, and other scenery) across multiple maps
Known Issues
Issues with the hitbox of Elite Snacks.
