Atomic Picnic changes
New update is here with another round of visual polish, audio improvements, and bug fixes.
First and most important news:
As we get closer to the launch of Atomic Picnic, we’re slowing down the pace of regular updates.
Not because there’s less happening.
Because we’re preparing something much bigger.
From now on, we want every update to matter; with more meaningful reveals, sharper improvements, and things that will make the wait worth it for every Loner out there.
Stay close. Big news is coming very soon.
Second news of the week:
Atomic will be attending the Bullet Fest! Share the love for roguelikes and bullet fest, and send AP to your friends!
And now... What’s new in AP
Visual Improvements
Improved shadows for enemies, characters, and buildings.
Made small adjustments to the Heavy Weight and Bass Blaster icons.
Improved the visuals of the hands in the Diamantina map.
Quality of Life Improvements
Added SFX for the objectives HUD.
Changes
Added new audio feedback to objective HUD interactions.
Fixes
Improved audio stuttering issues.
Fixed an issue where Little Mac could get lost when players moved too far away.
Fixed Energy Bombs showing up outside the playable arena in City of Sands.
Known Issues
We’re currently aware of the following issues and are working on them:
It’s possible to get stuck after closing the Equipment menu.
Sometimes, the enemy's death VFX plays in slow motion.
The Energy Bomb SFX can continue playing after it's collected.
Harp’s healing VFX is being directed to the floor instead of Oswald.
Thanks for playing and helping us improve Atomic Picnic!
