New

  • Persistent jettisoning of ship cargoThe previous destroy buttons in the sector drop ship cargo at the ship's current position. It works during flight and on the extraction screen. Nearby active loot containers are expanded preferentially; otherwise a new lootable container cluster is created. Dropped cargo is saved per sector and per save and is restored the next time you enter the sector. Station cargo is unaffected and is not teleported into the sector.
  • Cargo weight affects flight behavior: The fill level of the player cargo hold increases the effective ship weight linearly. An empty cargo hold changes nothing; at 100% fill the ship is 10% heavier and therefore around 9.1% slower and less agile to turn. The effect remains noticeable at the existing speed caps.

  • New sprites for all spaceshipsAll spaceships in the game receive new sprites.
  • Sound effects for blueprints and data scans

  • Decrypted blueprints receive their own sound effect.

  • In the sector there is now a sound effect when a data scan successfully finds new data.

Updated

  • 800 blueprints for ship systems: The game now contains a total of 800 blueprints for ship systems. Wreck fields from pirates can now spawn multiple blueprints at once.

  • Station computer: Blueprint management: The station computer has received its own blueprint management. Decrypted blueprint entries receive the same ship-system tooltip on hover as blueprint systems in the shipyard; encrypted blueprints and other list entries are unchanged.

  • Category icons for blueprints: Blueprints receive the matching system slot icon from Assets/Sprites/Ship System Slots/, tinted using the existing category color. The icons appear in the short-range sensor as well as in the blueprint lists and detail views of the station and ship computers.

  • Automatic cleanup of identical blueprint duplicates: Decrypted blueprints are automatically merged when template, affixes, and gameplay-relevant values match in their UI-rounded form. Existing saves receive a one-time, idempotent migration; built-in blueprint references are switched to the remaining copy.

  • Tooltip system overhauled: The tooltip system is now more robust and responds faster.

Bugfixes

  • The UI color now adapts again when the alarm state is changed.

  • The stuck pirate laser is fixed: the target information is now stably cached for the shot.

  • Shipyardconstruction of certain ship systems was wrongly blocked — fixed. The currently installed ship system is now shown more clearly in the sidebar.
  • Tooltip bug fixed: some ship system tooltips did not reliably display data.

  • Blueprint bug fixed: blueprints could actually be lost when switching stations.

  • The heavy flickering during manual laser fire is reduced.

  • Tooltip display error in the station computer fixed.

  • Tooltip bug fixed: some ship system tooltips did not reliably display data in the shipyard.
