Hi there, Rebels 🫡 Today is an important day. We launched Astro Prospector 4 months ago, in July. It was really fun to develop and we were quite happy with the result.

This mode is easy to pick up but presents a great challenge to beat the 21 Days! For those of you who manage to finish Day 21, you can go Endless and try to reach the furthest day possible .

Today is an important day.

We launched Astro Prospector 4 months ago, in July. It was really fun to develop and we were quite happy with the result. But when we launched it, we received faaar more love and support than we expected. It was incredible 🥰

Lots of you enjoyed Astro Prospector but told us it was a bit short. You wanted more. More upgrades, more ships, more hours... more AstroCoffee! This free update is our response to your love and support. We had a blast exploring the roguelite/survivors genre from the core of Astro Prospector, and we hope you have a blast playing it too.

So today... 🥁🥁

Astro Prospector: Endless Coffee is available! ☕

The main addition of this update is the Endless Coffee mode. It's a survivors roguelite mode (think of Brotato or Vampire Survivors) born from the mechanics of Astro Prospector. SpaceCorp is back, so you have to pick a ship (from 9 different ones) and survive for 21 Days.

After every Day, you will go back to the shop and upgrade your ship wisely using your resources. This mode is easy to pick up but presents a great challenge to beat the 21 Days! For those of you who manage to finish Day 21, you can go Endless and try to reach the furthest day possible.

After every run, you will increase your Rebel Level and unlock new upgrades that will show up in future runs. Also, if you win a run with a ship, you will unlocks its unique weapons or abilities to appear as upgrades in future runs.

We love finding crazy combinations and taking games to the max, so Endless Coffee allows you to combine weapons and find super strong synergies in unexpected ways (we are not responsible for what happens if you manage to reach a 1000% Recharge 😛)

For those of you who want more details, here is the full changelog of the update:

New ModeAdded "Endless Coffee," the new roguelite game mode! The new weapons, ships, enemies, etc. are only available in this mode.
SettingsAdded a setting to disable flashy effects on explosions.
CreditsAdded new people to credits (thanks!).
OptimizationImproved GPU performance in the Ice Sector. Some of you reported low FPS in that Sector; it should work better now.
Optimization: General rendering improvements. The game should now use less GPU.
Optimization: CPU improvements. The game should run smoother on lower-end PCs.
FixFixed a bug where Story mode save data could become corrupted.
FixFixed various typos and translation errors in different languages.
FixFixed a bug where Pulse would sometimes get stuck on screen.
FixFixed a bug where the Coffee effect wouldn't disappear upon finishing a day.
FixFixed a bug where one boss used the wrong SFX when shooting.
