What changed
- Gameplay
- Balance
- Fixes
The v0.1.3 patch includes some adjustments based on discussion forum feedback, as well as a general continuation of combat improvements and bug fixes.
Combat
- Status Effects in the Select Target will now be highlighted with a golden shine if the ability you are using will be enhanced as a result of that status effect being present.
- Improved how crowd control influences turn order. You will now see more immediate impacts from crowd control abilities. NPCs have also received these same benefits, which should add a new wrinkle to combat.
- NPCs now create additional openings, which will enhance the attacks of their allies.
- Split up the slow components of Dread Whisper into separate debuffs. This allowed us to increase the debuff duration without having adverse affects on the crowd control aspect of it.
- Leg Strike has been renamed to Rolling Strike, and had it's animations replaced, and it's damage has been adjusted.
- Improved Quick Strike animation and FX.
- Made adjustments to combat camera blending.
- Added a short delay before NPCs do their attacks, to give the camera more time to blend to their position.
General
- Increased the rate at which hunger grows.
- Reduced the healing capabilities of tier 1 flesh items.
Input
- X and Y sensitivity settings for gamepads or mouse controls have been improved to allow for greater sensitivity.
- Clamped the sensitivity settings so that you can no longer drag them all the way to 0.
- In addition to gamepad or w,a,s,d movement, you can now also use the keyboard's directional arrow keys.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug with some of the party member chatter, which allowed Ainge to speak over Achi if you acquired him quickly enough.
- Fixed an issue that prevented some orc hit reactions from playing.
- Corrected a rounding issue that could have shown some NPCs with 0 health when they were still living due to having a value like 0.5.
