Development Update

Hello!

I'm working with a designer on a general revamp of the layout. We are giving the game a far more polished look, adding color, illustrations... it's not going to look like the old Astra Ignota, and that's a good thing. Oh yes, yes it is.

At the same time, I'm spicing up the game tiles so they don't look so flat. Take a look at the end of this message!

While all that is getting ready, I bring you some assorted improvements, based on the feedback I'm receiving:

Changes

  • The range filler can now be used only with the mouse. Much more comfortable. Just left-click while holding down the right-button.

  • Removed click mode. Feedback is unanimous in that it requires far too many clicks. Tutorials have been changed accordingly.

  • One continuous song for each episode instead of constantly changing tracks. This gives each episode its own identity.

  • Fixes to the space themeremoved one of the music tracks, and some sound and visual effects.
  • Starting music volume was too loud, so it's been lowered.

  • Fixes for UHD monitors.

  • Fixes to translations.

  • Game assets are now nicely packaged in a single file, instead of spilled all over your hard drive.

Upcoming Changes Preview

These are some things I'm working on. This is all Work In Progress! No promises!
