addedThe Fastest 5 players to beat our new demo will have the chance to be immortalized in the game forever. A secret room/shrine will be built with the winners' names or in-game names commemorated for all to see and stumble upon when the game fully releases!
addedFeel free to go for multiple attempts! If you nail a sweet time early on but spot a new trick or faster times popping up as the contest rolls on, take another shot at it!
changedWhilst we're keeping it fair and square for the main prizes (no game-breaking bugs, cheats or exploits allowed), we've got a separate prize for the most hilariously mind-boggling run pulled off thanks to a glitch or exploit!

To throw your hat into the ring, just drop a YouTube video or stream VOD link (timestamped please!) of your run into the contest-submissions channel of our discord: https://discord.gg/2y2ZjyySfE

Feel free to go for multiple attempts! If you nail a sweet time early on but spot a new trick or faster times popping up as the contest rolls on, take another shot at it!

The contest kicks off and wraps up right alongside the June 2024 Steam Next Fest (June 11, 2024 3:00AM AEST to June 18, 2024 3:00AM). Once Next Fest Ends, we'll lock down the contest submissions.

The final time for your run will be the time that is displayed on the End Demo Screen!

The build / demo of the game that is being judged for this contest is the Steam Next Fest Demo. This includes the Tutorial, Limbo, Lust and the start of Gluttony.

Whilst we're keeping it fair and square for the main prizes (no game-breaking bugs, cheats or exploits allowed), we've got a separate prize for the most hilariously mind-boggling run pulled off thanks to a glitch or exploit!

Best of luck to everyone! We can't wait to see the crazy skill and dedication that come out of your runs! Ascending Inferno is built with the speedrunning community in mind, so we're super keen to hear your thoughts and feedback to make the full game even better!

Don't forget to join the discord to submit your best time! https://discord.gg/2y2ZjyySfE
