As One We Survive changes

changedWe had previously been aiming for a Q2-Q3 release, but as we’ve continued working on the demo, base building, community management, and the other systems planned for Early Access, it has become clear that we need more time to get the game where it needs to be.

We’re excited to share that As One We Survive will be part of Steam Next Fest from June 15th through June 22nd.

During Next Fest, players will be able to try a public survival mode demo that gives a first look at the core experience we’re building. The demo includes scavenging, exploration, combat, survival, and a small teaser of the base building systems.

This is still an early slice of the game, and not the full Early Access experience, but we hope it gives you a good feel for the world, the survival loop, and the direction of As One We Survive.

We’d love for you to download the demo during Next Fest, try it out, and let us know what you think. Your feedback will help us a lot as we continue improving the game.

Early Access Release Window Update

We also want to share an update on our Early Access release window.

We had previously been aiming for a Q2-Q3 release, but as we’ve continued working on the demo, base building, community management, and the other systems planned for Early Access, it has become clear that we need more time to get the game where it needs to be.

Because of that, we’ve made the decision to move the Early Access release window to Q1 2027, with our current target being late January to early February.

This was not an easy decision, but we believe it is the right one. We do not want to rush As One We Survive into Early Access before the core systems are stable, connected, and properly polished.

The extra time will allow us to keep improving the survival experience, finish more of the base building and community systems, and make sure Early Access launches with a stronger foundation.

Thank you for your patience, encouragement, and support. We’re a small team, and we care deeply about getting this right. We’re truly sorry this has taken longer than expected, and we’re grateful for everyone who has continued to follow and support the game along the way.

We’re excited to finally let more players step into the world of As One We Survive during Steam Next Fest. We hope you’ll join us, try the public demo, and share your feedback.

More updates coming soon. Thanks so much!
