Major Update Summary
Upgraded interaction logic to better support ranged pickups making it easier to interact with pickup items and updated every item to support the new system. You can adjust interaction trace logic via Settings > Gameplay Settings > Interaction Trace Settings.
Introduced the first advanced crafting system! The sword crafting beta includes a morphable billet, forge hammer, and supportive UI for sword crafting. Future patches will add advanced arcane weapon crafting, armor crafting, and general crafting improvements. Even though it is just the first beta patch this is already the coolest VR crafting system I have seen! Look forward to even more amazing crafting mechanics!
Minor Update Summary
Did you know Data Assets don't replicate across RPC calls? Well now you do and so do I! Slapped on a little bit of digital duct tape and restored replicated spell casting. Further refinements will follow with upcoming spell systems reworks.
Dev Note
A lot of effort went into designing an in depth crafting system that was fun and engaging. There were many failed attempts and system reworks that I tested to actualize this iteration of the crafting system. Here is the beginning of the most fun, immersive, and engaging crafting system in VR! It already has the best feeling sword crafting in VR and it is going to get even better!
