addedGame Juice TweakAdding directional effects based on player velocity and direction. -Slightly reduces stamina consumption when sprinting but greatly increases stamina cost for dashing. -Implement various hidden mechanics that provide a stamina boost. For example, changing formation when stamina is below a certain threshold, or performing multiple dash in succession. -Improve slow motion, hit stop, camera, and screen shake. -Implement additional audio cues and audio tweaks.
changedNOTE:A better game feel doesn't hurt anyone. I feel like the game could need more of it. The highlight is the stamina boost mechanic that I've hidden through various systems in the game. This will encourage players to engage in different mechanics to pull off fast and fluid maneuvers!
changedCombat ActionSlightly increase the sprint speed of player Arkship. -Slightly increase the movement speed of all enemy units. -Slightly increase the projectile speed of all enemy attacks. -Slightly increase health scaling of enemy units, greatly increase elite health scaling.
changedNOTE:These adjustments are to make the action combat feel more fast-paced. I've increased enemy aggression to match with player mobility. This will encourage the player to move and dodge more often. And since there has been some player feedback that they haven't had enough of the combat. Thus, I made the enemy tougher, especially the elite!
changedNOTE:This change is hope that the player will put more bursts into a command line instead of just one burst. Providing more room to strategize while keeping the balance.

Game Juice Tweak

-Adding directional effects based on player velocity and direction.

NOTE:

A better game feel doesn't hurt anyone. I feel like the game could need more of it. The highlight is the stamina boost mechanic that I've hidden through various systems in the game. This will encourage players to engage in different mechanics to pull off fast and fluid maneuvers!

Combat Action

-Slightly increase the sprint speed of player Arkship. -Slightly increase the movement speed of all enemy units. -Slightly increase the projectile speed of all enemy attacks. -Slightly increase health scaling of enemy units, greatly increase elite health scaling.

NOTE:

These adjustments are to make the action combat feel more fast-paced. I've increased enemy aggression to match with player mobility. This will encourage the player to move and dodge more often. And since there has been some player feedback that they haven't had enough of the combat. Thus, I made the enemy tougher, especially the elite!

System Change

-Burst Command Powerline: From now on the powerline will provide energy in order instead of providing to all bursts in the command. -Increase base energy distribution to 100 -Reduce distribution decay rate to 10% per burst. -Slightly increase all unit burst energy requirements.

NOTE:

This change is hope that the player will put more bursts into a command line instead of just one burst. Providing more room to strategize while keeping the balance.

Interface Adjustment

-Add tags to the Drive & Class Boost tooltip. -Add attack description to Squadron Purchase Tooltip. -Add various purchase suggestion visual cues to the squadron banner in the shop. -Add action cursor.

NOTE:

I've added in new action cursor to keep track of various stuff and some new visual and audio cues. I hope this will make the combat experience more easy and seamless without the need to gaze your eye to different corners of the screen.

Bug Fixes -Fixed the issue where the enemy encounter spawns too quickly even before notification. -Fixed electrify status deals too much damage too fast. -Fixed some text misspellings.
