I will probably start doing some playtests in the next 2-3 weeks to test the save system, performance, and the translations. I'll make another announcement when I start doing playtests so keep an eye out for that.
Most of my time was spent on translations, and the save system. Both were surprisingly time consuming, but I was able to make a lot of other improvements and changes. Mostly backend stuff but here's the more interesting changes.
General:
Translated most of the text to Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
Added a save system.
Added combat and UI sound effects.
Added a custom unit creator which allows the player to create a custom unit where you can pick its class, skills, and rank. As well as add a custom image, and portrait.
Improved unit movement.
Improved the research system a bit.
UI:
Added Skill tab for units.
Made some improvements to the Recruit, and Unit menus.
Performance:
Made pretty big improvements to performance. Load times are kinda up there because I'm pooling a large number of units which can take time to load, but the in game performance is quite smooth as a result.
