Ardarium changes
New features:
The biggest new feature is a terrain editor. You can use it to deform land by increasing, lowering, or leveling. You can choose different brush shapes, enable or disable gradient, and change brush size.
Windowed mode
An option to stop the sun so that the simulation keeps running but the time of day is static.
Monsoons now happen. They can occur randomly or be activated manually. The effect is a huge addition of humidity at the edges of the map which creates rain storms all over.
An option to disable random disasters entirely.
A new option on the launcher called "Chaotic start". It makes it so the starting conditions are way more random than normal. The terrain is basically random noise and temperature ranges from absolute zero to > 1000 C. Things settle down to normal within the first couple in-game days.
A start option called "Dry start". It makes it so the game starts with no humidity, no ground water, no liquid water, no ice, and sea level below the minimum land level. Sea level can still be changed at any time on the esc menu.
Changes:
Removed automatic spawning of humans from the new game screen and put it on the esc menu. It's disabled by default but can be turned on at any time.
AI improvements for people. Soldiers are better at forming armies and going after enemies together. Farmers build farms closer to home. Everyone is better at getting to enemies and avoiding danger.
Nations grow faster. People reproduce and move faster.
Many minor changes to ground, water, and plant colors.
Clouds are more reactive to wind.
The environment is better balanced in terms of temperature and moisture.
The map info window now shows more info including the current moon phase and well as recent and current events like earthquakes, monsoons, and solar eclipses.
The cell tooltip now shows more information about the environment in general.
