Arcane Eats is heading to Gamescom and PAX West!

We’ve got some big summer news: We’re bringing our first public demo of Arcane Eats to the show floor at Gamescom and PAX West in just a few weeks!

First up, we’ll be at Gamescom (Aug 20–24) in Cologne, Germany as part of the Indie Arena Booth. This year’s theme is “Watch Us Cook,” so of course Arcane Eats had to be on the menu.

Then the week after, we’ll be back home in Seattle, USA for PAX West (Aug 30–Sep 2) showing the game as part of the PAX Rising Showcase, and the Seattle Indies Expo (Aug 31). Hometown Seattle Indies pride~

It’s such an honor to be selected for these events! It’s an amazing smorgasbord of indie games, I personally can’t wait to taste as many as I can. And of course, we’re really looking forward to getting Arcane Eats into people’s hands for the first time and seeing what you all think.

If you do come by our booth, please say hi – Bob and I will be the ones wearing chefs coats, aprons, and elf ears. It will also be my first time to Gamescom and to Germany, so if you have tips on good places to eat, could you drop me some links in our Discord server?

Speaking of, back in the Discord kitchen, everyone’s been goofing around with fantasy restaurant concepts and came up with some real treats. Here’s a sampling:

Hope you’re all having a good summer! It’s hot and I’m lazy, so I’ve been making my favorite simple summer dish, nectarine salad. Chop some nectarines, toss with some sugar + salt + lemon juice, rip up some prosciutto and fresh mozzarella and basil and throw it on top. Eat outside with bare feet. No lie, I would eat this every day for the rest of the summer if I could.
