Another patch has released, this time the size of a content update! Focusing on making multiplayer much more reliable, LAN Redone, Recoil Redone, and a new close quarters map! Also including AI Intelligence, Optimisation, Resolution Settings Redone, Windowed Mode, and More. Here's some in depth info:
Multiplayer Fixed / Reliability Since I launched multiplayer there's been heaps of players checking out new features, and I love the feedback! However there was a large amount of much needed 'quality-of-life' changes. This simply improves the stability, reliability, and makes it easier to connect! Eg, joining or hosting servers is very unlikely to kick you back to the main menu (or in a frozen loading screen in some cases), LAN mode has also been re-done, server names are smaller, and over 20 other fixes.
Zombie Optimisation / Improvements Zombie's are now a little different, for a start they're all much more efficient and optimised, they're also going to walk around much less (like after spawning) and sprint instead, they also go much closer to the player camera (this improves animation visuals), and finally you can adjust the zombie intelligence from the settings menu (for those favouring performance).
1 Completely New Map There's now the Destroyed City Subway, inspired by the Legacy Hospital map but improved in most ways. It's 1 lane running along a modern subway train, giving you a very challenging experience.
Recoil Re-Done Recoil is now split in 3 new parts! The aim of this is to make firing and aiming a little more challenging, and to give the player a feel for the weapons. The first change is to simply reduce the current system slightly, making the line of fire more accurate. The second is to move the players camera (and mouse) when firing, this makes the combat feel much more fluid. Finally, every weapon also now has completely different unique values.

Multiplayer Fixes
The game now saves the 'Host Server Automatically' checkbox - The game now checks if servers can be joined before loading - LAN matches can now be found in the Server Browser successfully - Hosting matches no longer gets stuck on loading screen - Hosting or Joining matches is now much more reliable - Joining matches no longer gets stuck on loading screen - Server names are now shorter and take up less space - Reloading delay after connection fails is now shorter - Ping no is bugged in the Steam SDK so it's been disabled - Spamming 'refresh' (causing connection issues) is now disabled
Optimisation / Zombie Changes
Zombie's are now faster and more efficent, allowing more - Zombie's intelligence can be changed to favour performance - Zombie's intelligence can be changed to remove all delays - Zombie's now quickly run to the player after they spawn - Zombie's don't walk or strumble as much as previously - Zombie's now move much closer to the player camera
Spawn / Death Changes
Spawning (at night, in 3rd person) now lights player model correctly - Death / Spectator / Respawn screen no longer overlaps loading screen
Render Changes
Resolution is now always shown instead of 'Default' - Changing resolution now correctly works as expected - Changing window mode now correctly works as expected - Windows now always keeps the game in the selected fullscreen mode - Mouse is no longer removed when in spectator / death / respawn screen
Recoil Changes
Recoil is now made of 3 independant parts, making aiming harder, see below - (Part 1) Recoil still moves the weapon upwards but it's more subtle - (Part 2) Recoil now moves the camera upwards in sync with line of fire - (Part 3) Recoil now changes each weapon differently in unique ways
Map Changes
The list of maps is now ordered by creation date - The current map size is shown on the preview image - Maps completely unique and new are classed with (Unique Map) - Maps ported from the legacy edition are classed with (Legacy Map) - Maps remastered from the legacy edition are classed with (Remastered Map)
Misc Changes
Main Menu Inventory now disables when loading - Zombie intelligence slider enabled - 'Weapons - Galil' achievement fixed - Loading indicator now shows up more
