Repeated intro
Hello everyone, Demo 6 is now made available for the course of the weekend. This is, as ever, an alpha.

- UI and audio
Antimatter changes
--- An alpha version means that features remain incomplete, content may still be lacking, and the game may contain bugs, including game-breaking ones. Please do not download and play it if you expect a complete and seamless version. Also, the save/load system is disabled. ---
Much has changed since Demo 5. It would be near impossible to provide an exhaustive account of every addition, tweak, and fix, so only some changes will be highlighted here. The rest may be discovered directly by testing the demo !
The Fulfilled Roadmap
The roadmap for Demo 6 has been successfully completed. Here are some highlights:
Policies
Policies have been mechanically overhauled, though content is still wanting and will be gradually added and balanced. The UI has also been improved.
Politics
The dynamics and UI surrounding politics have also been polished, with contextual decisions now being brought into play.
Cabinet Roles
Multiple cabinet roles now exist, allowing certain powers to be delegated. This also reflects the measure of authority the player may, little by little, come to possess.
Characters
Character attributes have been consolidated into something more meaningful for gameplay. Perks have also been introduced in an initial form, with further content, they will increasingly shape the player's gameplay.
Beyond the Roadmap...
Last, but certainly not least, many aspects of the game have been improved and extended:
Planet Badges
Planets can now have small interactable badges. Smart orders, such as landing or attacking, will work with them.
Better Notifications
Notification badges may now appear for certain events, such as a destroyed ship, a new war, or a new construction site. They lead either to the relevant location or to the appropriate UI.
Revised Ship UI
Information is now better arranged for spacecrafts.
As part of this revision, ship repairs and module customization have also been polished.
More Starting Options
Yet another UI-heavy change: more customization possibilities have been made available, together with a broader UI revision: Customizable organization: Many busy organizations can theoretically be spawned, though this is not the focus of this alpha.
A Menu to Buy or Allocate Assets
Antimatter greets the player with an odd, confusing, yet very important mechanic: assets may not be owned directly by the player, but instead controlled through influence within an organization. This UI is meant to render that feature more accessible.
Revised Trade Node UI
Trade nodes, along with the ability to edit demand, stocks, and prices, are now much less confusing and more informative:
Revised Outpost UI
Developing an outpost is now much easier, thanks to a revised UI flow, a construction queue, and many further tweaks.
Revised Finance UI
Construction Ships & Overhauled Station Building
Space stations are now built by spacecraft fitted with construction modules. These ships will fetch the necessary construction goods and assist any viable construction site.
And Much More...
UI sounds have been added, and countless tweaks, small additions, performance improvements, and codebase refinements are part of this update. This is yet another step toward making the game's large codebase more reliable and easier to work upon.
A new video was released as well, detailing a feature of the game :
