Animalkind changes
Paws for a moment… we've got another update for you! This one is focused on fixing some issues our community has reported, including a couple of pesky ones that could disrupt your gameplay. As always, we appreciate you and hope you're having a wonderful time in Animalkind!
Summary of Changes
The Quest Log is updated to now include your quest history. Revel in all of the ways you’ve helped your villagers!
Big improvements to placement, snapping, and decoration! They are now better and easier to use. We think this will help with things like connecting the bridges in Tallwoods.
Addressed an issue where online connectivity would be disrupted, causing connection issues.
Addressed an issue where entering decoration mode while using the design tool would break the game state.
Addressed an issue where Tao would not react during one of his quests.
Rosie will no longer mention a mysterious tent you supposedly gave her (this was a remnant of our Alpha playtests).
The Sleep emote was confusing so it has been renamed Drowsy. If you would like to sleep, make sure to use your bed and not the emote.
Various environmental objects in Tallwoods and Snowrock can no longer be picked up and put into your inventory.
Addressed an issue where the camera could cause parts of the portal to disappear while in dialog with it.
Adjusted the interaction range for shops.
We now prevent you from talking to the portal with something in your mouth, as this could impact some important quests. And it’s hard to talk with a giant mech hand in the way!
You may notice something different about the mech’s walk.
Addressed an issue where the codex progress toaster sometimes appeared in the wrong place.
