Ahem, Barney might have influenced the last update notes a bit. He has been ushered back to the home island where he has lots of things to bob his head at. Isn’t he adorable?!
Anyway, we’re closing this week out with another update aimed at improving the experience and addressing some issues we’ve seen. As always we appreciate you and hope you’re having a great time with Animalkind.
Summary of Changes
We adjusted the how quest starting and quest completion granted rewards to players. Previously, if a player was not the one completing a quest, they had to talk to the NPC or go through a sleep cycle to get caught up on all rewards. Now it happens immediately. This should reduce confusion around crafting recipes granted by quests.
Addressing issue where auto-dialogue moments at the end of a quest could trigger on the wrong player.
Addressed an issue where FLOOF codex fragments could cause very taxing physics calculations.
Addressed an issue where players could accidentally soft-lock themselves by collecting FLOOF codex fragments before a quest was started.
