Hoot hoot hooray, we’re back for another update. The list of changes is on the smaller side this time, as we are focused on addressing some decoration issues. Any hoot, as always we appreciate you and hope you’re having a great time with Animalkind.
Summary of Changes
We told the mechs quite strongly to spawn near the portal rather than your tent or house. We understand that they like to be close to their owners, but it was making it hard to move!
We revised some of the innerworkings of our decoration system which should address some issues and bugs that players have been reporting.
We also made an adjustment to the control mapping for placement and decoration to avoid a conflict with jumping.
We addressed an issue that could cause progress to be lost in wilderness islands under rare circumstances.
We updated some of the game’s text in Simplified Chinese, improving on the overall consistency and legibility of the game in that language.
We adjusted the order of the crafting recipes for platforms and edited their names to make them easier to find.
We smoothed out some parts of reauthentication while players are playing.
