Angelica's Chaotic Hardcore School changes
Reworked Intro of Final Era.
New, interactive intro sequence.
New Exam subject (WIP).
Specter William (William as a “teacher”).
Ending removed for a proper overhaul.
You will have to wait until the full V2.0 release to see what we have in store for William’s Boss Fight…
3D Main Menu improvements.
Added Final Era tape.
Oversight fix where tapes are available without prior level completions.
Changes to Angelica’s Chicken.
is now throwable, and can be picked up if you miss Angelica.
The other anti-teacher items will also receive similar changes to make them more fun and challenging to use. The Dog Food and Carrot will receive such changes in Version 2.0.
Settings Box addition.
Added Dither Filter: Toggle the dithering/pixel filter on or off to tweak how you want to see the game. On by default.
Some levels still have extra filters, making this setting not work in those levels. This will be fixed for full release.
Settings should now properly save across game sessions.
System changes.
New sequencer object. Makes scripted level segments like intros and endings easier to make.
This may have broken a few end sequences for some levels.
New map tile object. Uses new optimized materials.
Player footstep system has also been improved, now utilizes the physical material setting that is set within each material, allowing for easier dictation of what footstep sound should be made per material.
NPCs now process opening doors instead of each individual door (big performance improvement).
NPCs now use the same parent to make logic more consistent and reusable across all characters.
We would like to apologize for the very “WIP” state this experimental is currently in, as the game is under heavy maintenance to prepare it for better performance, future content, and the Version 2.0. update.
The changes made to the core of the game in this experimental are far reaching, and require lots of adjustment to get the rest of the game up to speed.
We thank you for your patience, and hope that V2.0 will have a successful launch!
The countdown begins now.
