changedThis patch contains changes that were previously on the beta branch, but are now released to the public build. Here are the combined patchnotes for both of these patches: Major gameplay changes - Player victory now determined by Victory Points, based on a set of fixed criteria - Territory, Clean Money, Building Count and total Reputation ( Infamy + Respect). Additionally, destroying other players' buildings and successfully downing their Lieutenants with attacks will grant 1 Victory Point. Victory is determined either after a point limit or a turn limit is reached. Minor gameplay changes - Expert and Middleman Lieutenants can now gain 10 Experience whenever they reveal enemy building ownerships or enemy Lieutenant trait information. Balance - Reduced the Defense bonus of Shifty Behavior from +5 to +4. Increased the Stealth penalty of Aggressive Behavior from -25 to -30. Maps - Added a new large 4-player map: Damnhattan Audio - Added sound effects for map events in which Morale, Infamy or Respect is gained. Interface - Added superprint functionality to all event report windows (NOTE: might cause some issues!) - Changed the game params menu layout to reflect the new victory system - The day report window now gives a breakdown of the sources of Victory Points and mentions the player's ranking Networking - To reduce disconnection events due to poor connection and packet drops, explicitly defined timeout values to Steam P2P connections have been defined: 10 seconds when trying to initialize connections, 15 seconds when checking for already-established connection. Bug fixes - Fixed an issue where player number can be set to something other than 1, if the default player mode in game menu is single player Miscellaneous - A number of improvements on the codebase: Removed some old and defunct code, deployed never-nesting to make the code more readable - Removed a defunct string claiming that players, when their buildings are destroyed, are given a compensation of insurance money - Changed the Manual entry of Victory and removed most references to the defunct victory system from manual, tutorials and interface
