Major Update 0.9.8b

It has been three months since our last update in October. Based on the extensive feedback we received from the September playtest, we have overhauled the game to the point where it feels like an entirely new experience. Below are our development goals and the specific changes implemented in this version.

Our Goals

Narrative Immersion

While we always had a story in mind, the previous systems were too incomplete to showcase it properly. This update introduces the first set of narrative elements. Players can now begin to uncover the lore of King Mokdu and his cult, the"Crimson Order". Also the protagonist's motivation for entering the "Aksun". More story depth will be added in our upcoming Early Access or Prologue package.

Overhauled Progression System

We aimed to balance the "randomness" of the roguelike genre with the "satisfaction" of intentional build-crafting. By expanding from 15 to 120 Artifacts, we’ve moved away from repetitive gameplay to a system where players can explore diverse mechanics and find their own unique playstyles.

New Content

For a limited time, we are opening Chapter 3: Marshes of Honbeck, featuring the boss Puppet Saja. *Please note: Chapter 3 will return to "Private" status in approximately 2–3 weeks, so don't miss out!
