Welcome back, Officers!
If you happened to miss our previous devlog, don’t worry — you can always catch up through this link. But for now, grab your scanner, adjust that uniform, and get ready for another shift at the most suspicious airport in the world.
Life on Caldora Island is never boring. Something shady is always happening, and it’s your job to stay alert, sharp-eyed, and ready to spot anything that shouldn’t be boarding a plane.
Unless… of course… you’ve already agreed to a little “favor” for the cartel.
But we’ll get to that later.
đźš« Restricted Items
Today, we want to introduce a key part of your daily duties: restricted items.
Not everything passengers bring to the airport should actually leave the island. During inspections, you’ll encounter items that fall into specific categories of prohibited or restricted goods. Your best friend in these situations will be your Officer’s Journal, where you can quickly check which category a suspicious item belongs to.
And trust us — you’ll want to check it carefully.
Every decision you make has consequences.
Sometimes the choice will be simple: confiscate the item and send the passenger on their way with a very disappointed look on their face.
But sometimes… things get complicated.
🤝 Deals, Morals, and Consequences
There may be moments when the cartel reminds you of a “previous arrangement.”
Maybe they expect a certain item to pass through security without too many questions. Maybe there’s a reward waiting for your cooperation.
So the question becomes:
Do you follow the rules, confiscate the item, and risk angering the cartel?
Or do you look the other way and enjoy the benefits of a fast and questionable profit?
Your choices will shape your story on Caldora.
Will you become a respected officer of the law… or the airport’s most discreet smuggling facilitator?
We’ll let you decide.
🛫 See You on April 23
The demo launches on April 23rd, and you’ll get the chance to see what’s really happening on the small but very busy island of Caldora.
Until then, stay sharp, keep scanning those bags, and remember:
Sometimes the most dangerous item at the airport… is the decision you make.
See you in the next devlog this Saturday, Officers.
