AI Olympius changes
The new character graphics are finally here.
I spent much more time on this than I had planned. This also delayed the fixes for two critical bugs, so I’m glad I finally managed to release everything. I’m also continuing to work on game balance. This process will continue next week. The new characters still have minor graphical glitches in their animations. Also, since this is a fairly significant system change, new unexpected bugs may appear. I’ll respond quickly to anything like that.
Fixed a respawn issue in co-op mode.
Updated character graphics; many small animations have been reworked.
Some characters in headquarters no longer wear masks (mostly indoors).
Added facial speech animations (lip movement, slight emotional effects on eyebrows).
The Olympic rifle’s homing missile now fires straight ahead if no target is locked on.
The physical size of the vehicle has been slightly reduced.
Turret detection range has been reduced by 10%.
Satyrs now shoot with slightly less accuracy.
Fixed an issue in the “Aircraft Factory” level where, in very rare cases, stingrays would get stuck during the production phase and block progress.
In the “Aircraft Factory” level, the type of anti-aircraft gun used to counter stingrays has been changed.
Fixed an issue in the headquarters where 2 agents remained behind after evacuation.
The chest and leg armor from the Artemis set now provide more healing.
- “Pandora’s Temple” levela number of simplifications have been introduced to improve the gameplay experience; the number of enemies has been slightly reduced, and movement between the final sections of the location has been simplified.
The accuracy of the spider guns has been slightly reduced.
Crossroads Level — The number of turrets on the roofs, armored screamers, and worms has been reduced. Turrets have also been removed from the second ring so as not to distract the player from navigating between the rings.
Central Meadow Level — Movement through the main temple has been simplified.
